Beautiful little place, went close to close so the shelves were a little bare but the stuff they had still amazing, unbelievably cheap and good for what you get. The pastries were beautiful and mouthwatering. The staff were so kind and polite, and I will definitely be making the trip just to eat their food again. Wonderful and cute little place. Pay them a visit!

Ive never found a chocolate tiffin that I really like until I tried one from here. My number 1 tiffin. Thank you, also the cherry Bakewell was spot on too.

Just simply the best. I've been coming here since childhood and everything is tirelessly perfect. I live abroad now but simply nothing compares to proper Palmer's carrot cake. Long live Palmers!

It's not often I rate anywhere full 5 stars, but Palmer's more than deserves it. We need more local places like this, traditional food seems to be dying out. I can't recommend Palmer's enough and the pork and stilton sausage rolls are amazing!!

Really lovely bakery, very friendly and helpful staff who always make me feel welcome. The bread is the best in the area and it has a lovely traditional feel to it. Can’t beat a cream and apple puff either…

Friendly helpful bakery. Ordered 100 ring doughnuts for a wedding doughnut wall. They were very helpful from first contact through to picking up the delivery. Many guests commented how lovely the doughnuts were. Will definitely be buying from them again. Thank you!

Consistently great food sold here. Always a bit of a treat when we visit and buy some delicious pies and pastries.

Wonderful business selling a wide range of quality baked goods and local foods. Excellent service and fair prices mean my family are regular patrons. Mmm mmm... Yummmm! ☺
This is the best bakery around in the area. I've been a user of it for years and the fact they've stood in the village since the mid 1800's tells you everything you need to know
Really friendly ladies at the bakery, with the store in Haughley stocking a fantastic range of delicious Tiptree jams, chutneys and sauces.
Brilliant lovely selection to choose from. Would highly recommend 👌
